Wow, I can't believe its been 8 months since I posted on the blog! So much has happened...Madison turned 5 years old!~We celebrated with taking her to Disneyland...Great fun day! For her birthday party we ended up at Chuck E. Cheese with family seems how none of the kids she invited showed up...so mad! But the important people were there...FAMILY!!!! And she had a great time which is all that really matters!
In June, Madison graduated from pre-school! Went to Disneyland a lot!
July 4th was spent at the in-laws for pool time and fireworks.
August 30th Madison started Kindergarten such a big girl and she loves her teacher and she's the teachers favorite :)
Aug 31st Roger III made his grand entrance into the world at 5:48pm 7lbs 15oz and 19 inches long...no hair lol. After being induced I was glad he was finally here. He latched on to nurse as if he were a pro! Madison wasn't mad anymore now that he was here....she was upset because he wasn't a girl...but is happy that he won't be stealing her toys any time soon. As soon as they let her in the room, she ran to the side of the bed and said "I've got the cutest baby brother", brought tears to my eyes...she gave him a kiss and was thrilled that the wait was finally over! My mom almost missed the birth of her 3rd grand baby, i forgot what she was doing or where she was at, but when I started pushing she flew into the door...hahaha! My dad came in from Las Vegas and made it there with time to spare.
I have to say thank you to Katie for keeping my sanity straight for the last week of my pregnancy! Lots of texting back and forth and lots of support! Don't know who was more excited Katie or myself LOL!
September~Labor day weekend, I didn't do anything, my sister in law came over and picked up Madison so that she could be with family and go swimming...she needed some grandma time! From what I understand she had a great time with Uncle Mike in the pool!
October..Madison still loves school and is excited for her 1st field trip...I am really nervous for that!!! Grandma Sue went with her to the pumpkin patch (nerves are settled). For Halloween, Madison was Alice in Wonderland, and Baby Roger was a skeleton...only being 2 months old he didn't need a costume! 2 month check up and the baby weighs 15 lbs!~
November...We are all sick! Baby too, upper respiratory infections, sinus infection for me and bronchitis for big Roger...Baby's first Thanksgiving..as always we went to Roger's moms house! Got all the Christmas shopping done for the kids in one day...ON LINE AND IN MY PJ's....only way to do it from now on! Finding a parking spot was hassle free :)
December...wow, time has gone by! Lots of drama~there always is!...Let's see, JC Penny didn't ship me out a new camera after finding out that it was damaged in transit, my step dad's tumors haven't shrunk after 3 months of chemo...he will be on chemo for the rest of his life, doctor's have given him 3 years to live...Roger is trying to find the money to get his commercial permit, physical and TSA Background check, but people haven't paid us back that "PROMISED TO". So tired of all the lies and telling us what we want to hear, when they don't have any means of paying us back! No more lending out money! Time to stand on your own 2 feet!
The Baby turned 4 months old on the 31st...and we were all in bed by 9:30p...bunch of old farts we are!
Wonder how 2011 is going to be better than 2010???? Guess we will just have to wait and see....
